There are no tryouts to join The {un}Known. All you have to do is join our Discord Server and apply to become a Clan Member here.

As we are primarily a Discord-based gaming clan, you are required to have a Discord Account and be in our Discord Server in order to be a member of The {un}Known.

In accordance with Discord's Terms of Service, we are unable to accept members who are under the age of 13. However, you are always welcome to join once you reach the appropriate age.

You are not required to change your name to include our clan tag, however, if you would like to do so; our clan tag is "404", or "{un}" for games that support it.

The {un}Known is an Inclusive Gaming Community. Emphasizing teamwork, diverse genres, growth opportunities, engaging events, safe social hangouts and zero tolerance for toxicity.

We play a variety of games, including Fortnite, Minecraft, ROBLOX, Terraria, The Sims 4, Destiny 2, and many more! We are always looking to support new games, so feel free to suggest your favorites.

No. While many of our members play games competitively, The {un}Known is a social hangout and gaming community, and therefore is solely a casual clan. If you are a competitive player, you may still be accepted, though keep in mind that we do not provide the proper tools to help you get into the Competitive E-Sports scene.

Most of our events are hosted by our Event Managers, so event times and frequency are always changing. If you would like to become an Event Manager to host your own events, go here.

We use your email to notify you about the current status of any applications you've submitted. (ie, whether they are invalid, have been accepted, etc.) You will not be contacted by us for any other reason unless you directly contact us through email or our contact page.

More often than not, your application will be invalid because you did not provide a valid Discord User ID. Re-Apply, and ensure that you provide the proper User ID. A valid Discord User ID will look like a string of numbers similar to the following: 194186979485679617 (User IDs are NOT a made up number! Watch here to learn how to get your ID.)

As long as you are non-toxic, and intend to represent us fairly and honestly, you are free to do so in games you enjoy, even if we don't directly support the game.
